What is Abhyanga?

Abhyanga is an Ayurvedic oil massage. Warm organic oil is applied evenly over the body to prevent stiffness while promoting circulation and overall wellness. At Minute Wonder it is $150 for 60 minutes or $200 for 90 minutes.

Is Abhyanga a full-body massage?

Yes. The session is a full-body Ayurvedic oil massage that includes a head and abdominal massage. Aromatherapy is available on request at no additional charge.

Who should not have Abhyanga?

Tell Preeti about your health history, any medical conditions and any medications before you book, so the session can be planned for you. Abhyanga is also part of Panchakarma, which is not recommended during pregnancy, acute illness or recovery from surgery, so ask her whether Abhyanga on its own is right for you if any of those apply. Swedana, the steam therapy that usually follows Abhyanga, has its own contraindications.
