Panchakarma in San Ramon
Panchakarma is Ayurveda's classical program of cleansing and rejuvenation therapies. It is not a single treatment and it is not a spa package. At Minute Wonder Ayurveda, every Panchakarma program is planned by Preeti Gupta after a consultation, built from the therapies offered in the clinic, and paced to your constitution, your digestion and the time you can give it.
What a Panchakarma program at Minute Wonder includes
A consultation first. Health history, daily routine, diet, digestion, sleep and current medications. This is where the program is designed, and where Preeti tells you if Panchakarma is not the right step for you right now.
Preparation at home. Several days of simple diet and routine changes, and often oil at home, so the body is ready for the therapy days.
Therapy days in the clinic. Combinations of Abhyanga (warm oil massage), Swedana (herbal steam), Shirodhara and Basti therapies, chosen for you and scheduled over consecutive days.
Rest and rebuilding. A gentle diet and routine for the days after, with a follow-up to adjust your plan.
Who Panchakarma is for
People who want to reset digestion, sleep and energy, who are moving through a season change, or who have worked with Preeti on a plan and are ready for a deeper step. It is not recommended during pregnancy, acute illness or recovery from surgery, and some conditions and medications need your physician's input first. The consultation sorts this out before anything is booked.
How long it takes
Programs run from a few days to two weeks of therapy, with preparation before and rest after. Most clients in the Tri-Valley schedule therapy days in the late morning or early afternoon and go home to rest.
What it costs
Programs are quoted after your consultation, because the number of therapy days and the therapies chosen depend on you. The initial consultation is $250 for 90 minutes. Individual therapies are priced on their own pages, for example Shirodhara at $150 for 60 minutes and Abhyanga at $150 for 60 minutes or $200 for 90 minutes.
Where to start
